(1) Incident Type : SUSPICIOUS APPROACH | Vessel Type: TANKER A tanker was approached whilst underway, 250nm South of Lagos, Nigeria. 1 small wooden boat with a number of persons and a ladder onboard came to within 0.5nm of the tanker. The Master conducted evasive manoeuvres which resulted in the approach being aborted. The vessel and crew are reported as safe.
