A robbery occurred on an anchored tanker in the Lagos Anchorage Area. 1 robber was discovered on deck by a member of the crew and an armed security guard. The crew member raised the alarm whilst the
guard fired a warning shot. The robber used a rope to lower himself down to a waiting boat and made good his escape. 12 cubic meters of petrol was stolen.
