0120 UTC | 25 February | Posn: 06-18.11N 003-21.16E | Lagos Anchorage Area, Nigeria

An attempted robbery has occurred on board an anchored tanker within Lagos Anchorage area. A crew member whilst conducting a safety patrol, spotted 2 robbers onboard. The alarm was raised which resulted in the robbers making their escape by jumping overboard.
