A speed boat with 5 persons onboard approached and pursued a supply vessel in the Cotonou area. The speed boat followed the vessel for 2nm before turning back, increasing speed and heading back to Cotonou Harbour. The 5 assailants were seen to be covering their faces during this incident. This also follows on from reports that the supply vessel was previously in port Cotonou when unidentified persons were seen observing, taking pictures of the vessel and crew members were approached and asked questions regarding the Captain and Chief engineers nationality.
