(1) Incident Type : ATTEMPTED ROBBERY | Vessel Type : BULK CARRIER An underway bulk carrier, transiting off Tanjung Ayam, was boarded by 5 robbers, 2 armed with knives. After a search of the vessel it was discovered no items were stolen and no unauthorised persons found on board.
(2) Incident Type : ROBBERY | Vessel Type : BARGE A barge being towed by a tug, within Batman Seas was boarded by robbers. The master reported that 2 robbers escaped after being confronted by the crew. Twist locks and ropes were stolen during this incident.
