(1) Incident Type : ATTEMPTED ROBBERY | Vessel Type : BULK CARRIER
0205 UTC | 08 November | Posn: 30-25.34N 009-38.52W | Agadir Port, Morocco

4 robbers managed to board a berthed bulk carrier at Silos terminal, Agadir Port. The robbers were discovered by the Duty Officer who raised the alarm and mustered the crew resulting in the robbers escaping. Crews searched the vessel and nothing had been stolen.

 

(2) Incident Type : ATTEMPTED ROBBERY | Vessel Type : TANKER
2000 UTC | 07 November | Posn: 03-47.17N 098-41.39E | Belawan Port, Indonesia

A robber attempted to board a berthed tanker at Belawan port using a grappling hook. The robber was discovered by the duty crewman on security rounds. Upon realizing he had been seen, the robber made his escape.

 

(3) Incident Type : PIRACY ATTACK | Vessel Type : TANKER
0028 UTC | 07 November | Posn: 01-08.08N 006-09.31E | North-North West of Sao Tome

A Tanker was attacked 54nm North-North West of Sao Tome. 2 speedboats approached a tanker to within 550m, distress flares were launched towards the approaching speedboats resulting in the pirates firing at the vessel before aborting their approach.
