4 robbers boarded an anchored container vessel from a small boat at Lagos port. Duty crew spotted the perpetrators and raised the alarm. Upon seeing the alerted crew the robbers made their escape. A search of the vessel found that the padlock on the ship's store had been broken and items of ship's property had been stolen.

0600UTC | 12 April | Posn: 04-42.00N 006-20.00E | Nembe Creek Waterways, Nigeria

Shots have been fired at passengers sailing in the Nembe Creek waterways. Further incidents were prevented after intervention from local government security forces. No casualties have been reported.
