FALLUJA : A suicide bomber from the IS (Islamic State) was driving a military Vehicle (Hammer Type) detonated the vehicle targeting a headquarter of Eighth Brigade of the IA (Iraq Army) Seventh Division positioned southern Amriyat al-Fallujah city. The explosion resulted in killing the commander of the Brigade Major General Qais Turki along with 2 of his elements.

BAGHDAD : The suicide bomber detonated his explosives inside Abass al-Adeli Shiite mosque in Harthiya area resulted in killing 4 persons and wounding 15 others.

TIKRIT : The security forces besieged two suicide bombers near Hajaj Seed Stores and forces them to detonate themselves before reaching their targets.

 

TIKRIT : The Police Commander of Salah il-Din province General Mohammed al-Jobouri was injured due to an explosion of an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) of northern Tikrit.

BAGHDAD : A bomb exploded inside a cafe in Mahmoudiya of southern Baghdad, killing 2 persons and injuring 7 others in addition to causing material damage for the cafe.

BAGHDAD : A bomb went off inside a container for garbage in Ghazaliya area of western Baghdad. The explosion resulted in injuring 3 persons.

BAGHDAD : The car bombing which took place near the National Theater Buolding in Karrada area of central Baghdad resulted in killing 9 persons and injuring 27 others.

BAGHDAD : A car bomb was the reason behind the explosion which took place in Silaikh area of northern Baghdad. The casualties of the explosion climbed up to 3 deaths and 20 injuries.

BAGHDAD : A car bomb exploded on Friday evening near a restaurant in Baladyat area of eastern Baghdad. The death toll of the car bombing in Baladyat area became 14 deaths and 48 injuries.

JALALABAD : A suicide attacker who identified by Afghan police forces exploded himself in Jalalabad city eastern Nangarhar province. A civilian was killed following the suicide attack.

HELMAND : A suicide bomber targeted a convoy of the ANA (Afghan national army) and Afghan police forces in southern Helmand province. At least four Afghan police forces were martyred and two others were injured following the attack.

KUNAR : A 35-year-old Afghan female was injured and a civilian house was destroyed by Pakistani military missile attack in eastern Kunar province.

KUNDUZ : 3 people, all civilians sustained injuries as a blast shocked Kunduz provincial capital the Kunduz city. It was a sticky bomb planted on a vehicle and exploded in front of a mosque.

LASHKARGAH : At least three Afghan security force troops have been killed in a suicide car bombing in southern Afghanistan. 6 others, including 1 civilian and 5 soldiers were wounded in the attack, which occurred on the outskirts of Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand.

BAJAUR : At least 2 soldiers were killed and as many injured when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in Pakistan's restive northwestern tribal region. The paramilitary Frontier Corps personnel were targeted in Salarzai area of Bajaur district near Afghan border.

AL HUDAYDAH : Yemen's Houthis have held hostage 66 Egyptian fishermen in the western Yemeni province of Al-Hudaydah for six days.

IBB : Shiite rebels and allied fighters attacked the home of a local politician from the rival Islamist Islah party, killing 2 his relatives in the town of Yarim, an Islamist stronghold in the Ibb province south of Sanaa. The ensuing clashes left eight rebel fighters and two bystanders dead.

IBB : four rebels were killed when a roadside bomb struck a convoy bringing reinforcements to a battle with Sunni conservative tribesmen raging in both Yarim and the provincial capital, also called Ibb.
